There was a flurry of player-transfer activities going on and BeckhamGalaxy
is diving in to bring the latest on LA Galaxy’s Player Transfer.
First up, I am sad to see Juninho leaving LA Galaxy, leaving a void in central
midfield. Juninho has been loaned by Brazilian club Sao Paulo to LA Galaxy
for the past two seasons and he has been turning out regularly for the first
team. His defensive midfield display has allowed David Beckham and Landon
Donovan to focus on making offensive plays for Galaxy. LA Galaxy fans will
remember Juninho for his wonderful Long-Range Bombs.
Juninho, the Midfield General
Juninho was the protege of David Beckham and his midfield
partnership with Beckham has worked wonders for Galaxy this season.
Judging from the latest tweets, even the LA Galaxy players were reluctant
to see Juninho leave the club.

Juninho19LA: What’s up dude …
sfranklin5: Hope everything is going well in brazil bro
Juninho has officially signed a 3-year deal with Sao Paulo and we, at
BeckhamGalaxy wish Juninho all the best in his future playing endeavors
at Sao Paulo. In response to his imminent departure, Juninho left a parting
message to all the LA Galaxy fans.
Juninho19LA: I want to thank Galaxy and all of my fans for your kindness
and support for the past two years that I was on the team.
Omar Gonzalez eyed by Club America
Defender-of-the-year Omar Gonzalez is reportedly scouted by Club America,
who is closely monitoring the player’s progress.
Should Club America make a move for Gonzalez, it can prove to be tempting
for Gonzalez to turn down as Club America plays in the professional Mexican
league and they are able to offer a much more lucrative contract without
the wage restrictions of the MLS.
Club America has also been looking to shore up their defence and Omar
seemed to be a great addition to their first-team squad. Omar Gonzalez
and defensive partner, AJ DeLaGarza were called up to the US squad in
preparation for International Friendlies with Venezuela and Panama
next year. Gonzalez will be looking to add to his tally of 2 international
caps while DeLaGarza will be looking forward to his first international cap.
There is a current trend of US players moving out of the MLS to prove
themselves on another stage. In fact, the majority of the US National
Team (players with established positions) is made of US exports who plied
their trade in Europe. Should one of the European club call upon Gonzalez,
Gonzalez will find it hard to turn down the opportunity to prove himself
on a bigger stage in Europe.
Gonzalez has featured in all 40 games for the Galaxy this season and
was a dominating presence in defence for Galaxy as the Galaxy ties the
record 17-games shutout and allowing 38 goals in 46 games in all
competition.
Watch how Gonzalez tear Alajuelense (CONCACAF Champions League)
apart with a header from (no-suprise) amazing Beckham corner.
So is David Beckham leaving?
That will be the biggest question at the back of everyone’s mind
as Christmas comes along. Beckham is officially remains a
Galaxy player until 31st Decemeber 2011, and there were reports
that Beckham has already signed the deal with France Lique 1
BeckhamGalaxy managed to pop this question to Galaxy captain,
Landon Donovan. Click to hear his reply here.
After Christmas, the world awaits the official announcement of
David Beckham’s final decision. (Including BeckhamGalaxy.)
There is no greater anticipation than this. Don’t you agree?
